SIFMA Foundation Code of Conduct

SIFMA Foundation events are intended to educate and engage program participants. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The SIFMA Foundation defines inappropriate behavior as any possible illegal conduct; verbal or physical abuse of any type; use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or actions; unwanted invasions of privacy; any form of harassment, racism, or sexism; any targeted comments which are intended to cause personal offense to another participant at an event (virtual or in-person), in chat forums, or through social media channels; or the violation of any local, state, or federal laws or regulations.

The SIFMA Foundation will investigate any reported incidents swiftly and treat all issues with confidentiality. The SIFMA Foundation, at our discretion, may act on any reports of inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to removing a participant from the event and/or prohibiting that person from attending future SIFMA Foundation events( virtual or in-person). Participants that do not comply with the SIFMA Foundation Code of Conduct may also be removed from all SIFMA Foundation programs. The authority to remove a participant lies solely with the SIFMA Foundation.
